Poker Room Reviews
Since 2003, when Chris Moneymaker’s majestic WSOP victory took over the scenes, new poker sites have been cropping up everywhere. In an interesting twist and turn of events, PartyPoker (the world’s previously largest online poker site) lost its US player base after the 2006 UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act) came into effect. Since then PokerStars has stood ontop of the world in terms of traffic and game selection.
Choosing a Poker Site:
When choosing a poker site as a player, I normally look out for a few things. Constant monthly promotions dazzle me, such as Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS Series and the Monthly Million Event. It’s important for me to have new tournaments and games constantly appearing in the lobby for me to join incase I get bored. Full Tilt Poker runs some great value low stakes games for players such as the $10k Daily Dollar which players can enter for just $1 and Sunday Double Deuce which you can enter for $22 and win part of a $200k Gtd prizepool every Sunday at 16:22 ET.
Poker bonuses are always good to look out for, such as this celeb poker bonus code site.
The next thing I look for is a great selection of cash tables and guaranteed tournaments. Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars are both awesome for this, however I think Full Tilt is winning with this race by better table software, a greater selection of unique games e.g. cashout and matrix tournaments and featured daily promotion such as Friday Fight Nights and the Sunday $200k Warmup.
Which Poker Site do I Recommend?
I spend the majority of my time playing at Full Tilt Poker. Thus, I would high recommend them to anyone who asks me. If you’ve not yet signed up, then you’ll receive a massive $600 deposit-bonus and you’ll get access to the $100k New Depositors Freeroll to help build your new bankroll.
